Teach For America

Teach For America is a national nonprofit organization that recruits promising leaders to teach for at least two years in low-income communities. The organization seeks to confront educational inequity head-on through a rigorous training and support system for these leaders, who often serve in the country's most under-resourced elementary and secondary schools. The primary goal of Teach For America is to offer quality education to all children, regardless of their socio-economic background, in the belief that this can combat the larger systemic issue of educational inequity in America.
