Troy Balderson is an American politician and member of the Republican Party. He serves as the U.S. Representative for Ohio's 12th congressional district, having assumed office in 2018. Before his time in Congress, Balderson was a member of the Ohio State Senate from 2011 to 2018 and the Ohio House of Representatives from 2009 to 2011. He is known for his focus on issues such as economic development, agriculture, and veterans' affairs. Balderson is a graduate of Muskingum University, where he studied political science and history.
