Sydney Kai Kamlager-Dove is an American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for California's 37th congressional district since 2023. A dedicated member of the Democratic Party, she has a rich history of public service in California. Before her current role, Kamlager-Dove served in the California State Senate, representing the 30th district from 2021 to 2022, and in the California State Assembly from 2018 to 2021. She also contributed as a trustee for the Los Angeles Community College District. With a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Southern California and a Master's in Arts Management and Public Policy from Carnegie Mellon University, she has held various influential roles, including District Director for State Senator Holly J. Mitchell and Director of External Affairs at Crystal Stairs.
