Stephen Allen Womack is a seasoned American politician and business executive, currently serving as the U.S. Representative for Arkansas's 3rd Congressional District since 2011. This district, historically represented by figures like former Senator J. William Fulbright, encompasses much of northwestern Arkansas, including Fort Smith, Fayetteville, Springdale, and Womack's hometown of Rogers. A dedicated member of the Republican Party, Womack's political career began as a council member from 1983 to 1984, followed by his tenure as mayor of Rogers from 1999 to 2010. He holds a Bachelor's degree from Arkansas Tech University and served in the U.S. Army National Guard. Womack's extensive experience in public service and his business acumen have made him a prominent figure in Arkansas politics.
