Stephen Kinsey is an American politician and a prominent member of the Democratic Party. He served as a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 2013 to 2024. Before his tenure in the House, Kinsey was the chief of staff to state Representative John Myers, his predecessor. He demonstrated leadership as the chair of the Pennsylvania Legislative Black Caucus during the 2019-2020 legislative session. Kinsey's education includes a high school diploma from Germantown High School, a Bachelor’s degree in Education from West Chester University, and an MBA from Eastern University. His career also includes experience as a legislative staffer in the U.S. Senate, which complemented his extensive service in the Pennsylvania State House of Representatives.
