Simcha Felder is an American politician known for his service in both the New York State Senate and the New York City Council. Hailing from Borough Park, Brooklyn, Felder currently represents the 22nd district in the New York State Senate, a position he has held since 2013. A member of the Democratic Party, he has been recognized for caucusing with Republicans during the early years of his tenure in the State Senate. Prior to this, Felder served as a representative for the 44th district on the New York City Council from 2002 to 2010. Academically, he holds an MBA from the City University of New York.
