Shamann Walton is a dedicated public servant and political leader in the San Francisco Bay Area. He serves as a member of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors, representing District 10, which includes neighborhoods such as Bayview-Hunters Point, Visitacion Valley, and Potrero Hill. Walton is a member of the Democratic Party and has been a strong advocate for social justice, economic equity, and community empowerment throughout his career. Prior to his role on the Board of Supervisors, Walton was the Executive Director of Young Community Developers, a nonprofit organization focusing on workforce development and education. He holds a degree in Political Science from Morris Brown College and a Master’s in Public Administration from San Francisco State University. Walton is committed to improving the quality of life for all residents of his district.
