Scottie Maples is a dedicated public servant with extensive experience in law enforcement and community leadership. He holds a high school diploma from Silver Creek Senior High School. Throughout his career, he has served in several key positions within the Clark County Sheriff's Office, including Chief Deputy, Colonel, and Lt. Colonel Public Information Officer. In addition to his law enforcement roles, Maples has been actively involved in local government as a Councilmember for District 4 in Jeffersonville City. His commitment to education is evident through his work as an Adjunct Instructor at Ivy Tech Community College. Beyond his public service, Maples is an entrepreneur, owning The Clipper Barber & Styling Shop, where he engages with the community on a personal level.
