Russell William Fry, born in 1985, is an American politician and lawyer currently serving as the U.S. Representative for South Carolina's 7th congressional district since 2023. He is a member of the Republican Party. Fry's political career began in the South Carolina House of Representatives, where he served from 2015 to 2022. His educational background includes a high school diploma from Socastee High School, a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of South Carolina, and a JD from the Charleston School of Law. Fry has held numerous leadership roles, including Majority Whip at the South Carolina House Republican Caucus and Executive Committeeman at the Horry County Republican Party. Additionally, he practiced law at Coastal Law, LLC.
