Roger Williams is an American businessman and politician serving as the U.S. Representative for Texas's 25th congressional district since 2013. A Republican, he played a significant role in Texas politics, including his service as the Secretary of State of Texas from 2004 to 2007 under Governor Rick Perry. Williams has also been influential in national political campaigns, holding positions such as North Texas Finance Chairman and National Grassroots Fundraising Chairman for the Bush/Cheney 2000 and 2004 presidential campaigns. He was the State Finance Chair for John Cornyn's U.S. Senate campaign. Williams is a Texas Christian University alumnus, where he earned his bachelor's degree. Additionally, he has a background in business and sports as a business executive, baseball player, and coach.
