Stop Rex Tillerson from becoming Secretary of State

The people have spoken and President-Elect Donald Trump will be President Trump on January 20th, 2017. Whether you are Republicans, Democrats, Independents or affilitates of other political parties, you and I need to put the pressure on Donald Trump to withdraw his consideration of Rex Tillerson as U.S. Secretary of State.  Rex Tillerson, of course, is a accomplished executive and would be qualified to be Secretary of State has it not been for the following reasons: 1. Rex Tillerson is the CEO of ExxonMobil, the world's largest Oil Company an abuser of human rights and big contributor to climate change in the world. 2. Rex Tillerson is a Friend to Vladimir Putin and Defender of Russia who we know has tried to influence in one way or another the 2016 U.S. Presidential Election.  3. His involvement with Russia, Turkey, Syria and Middle East's big oil companies will create serious conflict of interests worse than alleged Secretary Clinton controversies. 4. With no Government Experience Rex Tillerson will take over the State Department and will try to run it as ExxonMobil but the State Department is not a business.  As much we value his private sector work, Rex Tillerson is uniquely unqualified to be the Top Diplomat of the United States of America and should be prevented from being nominated and if nominated should have the most extensive confirmation hearing following by a NO vote in the Senate.

Petitioning Quicken Loans Arena

Allow Open Carry of Firearms at the Quicken Loans Arena during the RNC Convention in July.

RECOGNIZE OUR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT TO OPEN CARRY FIREARMS AT THE REPUBLICAN NATIONAL CONVENTION AT THE QUICKEN LOANS ARENA IN JULY 2016 SUMMARY: In July of 2016, the GOP will host its convention at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. Though Ohio is an open carry state, which allows for the open carry of guns, the hosting venue—the Quicken Loans Arena—strictly forbids the carry of firearms on their premises. According to the policy on their website, "firearms and other weapons of any kind are strictly forbidden on the premises of Quicken Loans Arena." This is a direct affront to the Second Amendment and puts all attendees at risk. As the National Rifle Association has made clear, "gun-free zones" such as the Quicken Loans Arena are "the worst and most dangerous of all lies." The NRA, our leading defender of gun rights, has also correctly pointed out that "gun free zones... tell every insane killer in America... (the) safest place to inflict maximum mayhem with minimum risk." (March 4, 2016 and Dec. 21, 2012) Cleveland, Ohio is consistently ranked as one of the top ten most dangerous cities in America. By forcing attendees to leave their firearms at home, the RNC and Quicken Loans Arena are putting tens of thousands of people at risk both inside and outside of the convention site. This doesn't even begin to factor in the possibility of an ISIS terrorist attack on the arena during the convention. Without the right to protect themselves, those at the Quicken Loans Arena will be sitting ducks, utterly helpless against evil-doers, criminals or others who wish to threaten the American way of life. All three remaining Republican candidates have spoken out on the issue and are unified in their opposition to Barack HUSSEIN Obama's "gun-free zones." Donald Trump said "I will get rid of gun-free zones on schools—you have—and on military bases on my first day. It gets signed my first day...you know what a gun-free zone is to a sicko? That's bait." (Jan. 8. 2016) Ted Cruz has accurately pointed out "shooting after shooting after shooting happens in so called gun-free zones." He continued, "look, if you're a lunatic ain't nothing better then having a bunch of targets you know that are going to be unarmed." (Dec. 4, 2015) And Ohio Governor John Kasich has been a leader in this movement to eliminate deadly "gun-free zones" starting with his brave decision to fight the Democrats and end "gun-free zones" at National Guard facilities in Ohio. (Dec. 18, 2015) We are all too familiar with the mass carnage that can occur when citizens are denied their basic God-given rights to carry handguns or assault weapons in public. EVERY AMERICAN HAS THE RIGHT TO PROTECT AND DEFEND THEIR FAMILY. With this irresponsible and hypocritical act of selecting a "gun-free zone" for the convention, the RNC has placed its members, delegates, candidates and all US citizens in grave danger. We must take a stand. We cannot allow the national nominating convention of the party of Lincoln and Reagan to be hijacked by weakness and political correctness. The policies of the Quicken Loans Arena do not supersede the rights given to us by our Creator in the U.S. Constitution. THEREFORE, WE ARE CALLING TODAY FOR THE FOLLOWING FIVE POINTS OF ACTION: 1. From the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland: A suspension of their policy preventing the open carry of firearms on the premises of the arena from July 18-21, 2016 to coincide with the Republican National Convention. 2. From the National Rifle Association: An immediate condemnation of the egregious affront to the Second Amendment of the United States Constitution constituted by the "gun-free zone" loophole to the state law. 3. From Ohio Governor John Kasich: A concerted effort to use his executive authority to override the "gun-free zone" loophole being exploited by the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. 4. From Reince Priebus and the Republican National Committee: An explanation of how a venue so unfriendly to Second Amendment rights was chosen for the Republican Convention. Further, we demand a contingency plan to relocate the convention to another location should the Quicken Loans Arena refuse to honor the constitutional rights of the RNC guests to open carry firearms during the convention. 5. From all Republican candidates for President: You have been brave in raising awareness about the immense dangers posed by "gun-free zones." In order to ensure the safety of your supporters, delegates and all attendees at the convention in July, you must call upon the RNC to rectify this affront to our Second Amendment freedoms and insist upon a suspension of the Quicken Loans Arena's unconstitutional "gun-free zone" loophole. Every American is endowed with a God-given Constitutional right to carry a gun wherever and whenever they please.

Donald Trump Should Prevent A.G. Jeff Sessions from Cracking Down on Legal Marijuana.

Trump Promised to Let States Decide on Legal Pot, Yet Appointed Anti-Pot Jeff Sessions to Be Attorney General Donald Trump should follow up on his campaign promise by respecting state's rights, which is what Republicans respect in so many other aspects of law. Jeff Sessions would be wasting millions in federal money by trying to crack down on legal states. Legalization Cuts Black Market Profits and Prevents Pot Abuse Amongst Minors.  Trump has expressed concern over the effect Mexican Drug Cartels have on our society through his advocacy for a stronger boarder. Legalization will cut their profits significantly. Marijuana sales will be through licensed vendors who check for IDs, unlike black market dealers. This prevents children from having access. Legalization Will Generate Billions in Tax Revenue  Donald Trump wants to generate revenue for our country, this is the best way to go about doing so. Legal Marijuana will generate a $40 Billion industry. Legalization Has Too Much Momentum to Be Stopped.  8 states (Nevada, Maine, Colorado, Washington, California, Massachusetts, Alaska, and Oregon) and Washington, D.C. have voted to legalize marijuana. The populations of those states add up to be over half of the U.S. population. Revamping a drug war and cracking down on those legal states will be a waste of money and a road to nowhere. $1 trillion has been wasted in the War on Drugs, yet the United States has no success to show for it. Who has won the war? Definitely not the U.S. Government. The black market has. The Obama Administration has Implemented Mandates to Not Crack Down on Legal Marijuana States. Please Prevent Sessions from Ignoring those.  The Cole Memo was written under former U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder and states that the federal government will not interfere with states that legalize recreational and medical marijuana so long as they follow a series of guidelines set forth within the document. Also, The Hinchey-Rohrabacher amendment is a piece of congressional legislation that prohibits the Department of Justice from spending federal dollars to enforce federal prohibition in states that have moved to decriminalize or legalize medical marijuana. Donald Trump, Please Find Common Ground With the 60% of Americans Who Support Legalization. Show Integrity and Compassion in Regard to the Liberties Americans Deserve.

Stop the violent, terroristic rioting ("protesting")!

*This excludes peaceful, non-paid protesters.* Our cities are being destroyed by paid "protesters"/rioters. These individuals should be arrested for hate crimes and treason for attempting to incite a civil war. An investigation needs to be opened into who is funding these anti-America activities (the violent rioting/”protesting”) and these individuals/organizations should be charged for hate crimes and treason as well as be labeled as hate groups. They should be investigated and charged for inciting civil unrest with the intention of initiating a civil war. We are calling on the government to act before more violence and additional murders, such as police officers murdered in multiple cities, take place. There is no place in our country for this lawlessness, bullying, and hatred. Every citizen deserves to be protected, feel safe, and treated fairly.

Support our 45th President, Donald J. Trump

This is to let the Clinton supporters know that our vote counts too. Both candidates knew the process going into the election and Clinton, knowing the process, has conceded. To the Electorals: We ask that you vote according to your state’s consensus, with tradition, and within the law. The citizens of the United States have voted and now the electoral process should be completed as promised. We want our 45th President, Donald J. Trump, to know that we support him.

Remove Paul Ryan from the GOP, Speakership and replace him in the upcoming election.

Paul Ryan has repeatedly failed to represent the will of the people, advanced legislation antagonistic to Republicans and Republican principles and has, most recently, betrayed the Republican voters of this Country as well as his implicit duty to support the Republican Presidential candidate, Mr. Donald J. Trump (for whom the people voted in historic proportions).  Paul Ryan is not a Republican and, therefore, he should be removed from his Speakership position and replaced in his upcoming race.

Petition the RNC Respect Donald Trump and the will of the voters!!

Since Donald J. Trump has achieved front runner status in the Republican primary, the party elites have been extremely transparent in their unfair treatment of Mr. Trump. Mr. Trump has brought more people into the Republican Party had ever dreamed to be possible, yet the GOP continually and systematically attempts to derail Mr. Trump and the will of the American people. Allowing 2 time loser to attempt to conduct such agregious operations such as #NeverTrump, letting Marco Rubio instruct his supporters to support lame duck candidate John Kasich in the attempt of achieving a brokered convention, is only angering the people who are supporting Donald Trump. This election season the Republican Party has seen a base that has expanded and become very energized thanks to Mr. Trump. We are petitioning to request that the will of the people be respected. If Mr. Trump has the majority by a significant margin entering the convention and the party elites choose not to name Donald J. Trump the nominee, We the People, will show our disapproval of the party's attempt to shove their choice against the will of the voters, WE will express our disapproval at the ballot box. Respect the will of the people or pay the consequences during the Presidential election.

Stop the RNC from Blocking Donald Trump's Nomination.

As we draw closer to the upcoming 2016 election, "Republican" officials are saying they won't vote for Donald Trump if he wins the Republican nomination. Other candidates are projecting a brokered convention so the Republican National Committee can virtually pick anyone they want. According to polls, voter turnout, and delegate count, Donald Trump is the clear front runner. There are currently 4 people splitting delegates, and over 12 candidates split delegates earlier in this election cycle. Candidates are saying they can beat Hillary Clinton, but they can't even beat Donald Trump in a primary. Their logic makes no sense, and if this leads to a brokered convention, the 2016 presidential race will be handed to Hillary Clinton. Stand up to the establishment that says they want to block the will of the people and destroy the Republican Party as we know it!

We oppose Rep. John Mica as U.S. Secretary of Transportation

URGENT CALL TO ACTION to President-Elect Trump Rep. John Mica lost his congressional seat in the election and is now lobbying President-Elect Trump to be appointed Transportation Secretary. President-Elect Trump has promised a government for “the people,” not for special interests and lobbyists. Rep. Mica has a track record of supporting special interests, and in particular, All Aboard Florida. This is urgent. Sign this petition that will go to President Elect Trump and his Chief of Staff, Reince Priebus, urging them for a transparent government with a strong cabinet team that will carry out the will of the people, not special interests or lobbyist. The following information about Rep. Mica was obtained from the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee’s Research Department. http://dccc.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/160617_John_Mica_Research_Report.pdfMICA PROMISED TO CLEAR PERMITTING RED TAPE FOR ALL ABOARD FLORIDA PROJECTPromised To Clear Permitting Red Tape For All Aboard Florida Project. “Promising to cut through the permitting red tape, U.S. Rep. John L. Mica (R-FL) is putting the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers on notice this week that he expects the agency to fast track the approval of permits for privately sponsored passenger rail service over an existing rail corridor and transportation right-of-way between Miami and Orlando…The ‘All Aboard Florida’ passenger rail project sponsored by FloridaEast Coast Industries will provide frequent service between Orlando and Miami. Florida East Coast Industries has donated $4,000 to Mica in between 2014 to 2016, and Rusty Roberts has bundled $14,500 for Mica. Mica, in turn, has worked to expedite construction of All Aboard Florida, issuing a press release trumpeting his role in fast-tracking permit approvals for the project from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and fighting to obtain FAA approval for terminal space at Orlando International Airport that would likely be used for All Aboard Florida. He also demonstrated strong support for All Aboard Florida’s allotment of tax-exempt privateactivity bonds. A coalition of Florida activists oppose All Aboard Florida because they think it is a cover to build more freight lines and they object to the huge subsidy Florida East Coast Industries is receiving by being able to issue tax-exempt bonds for the project, which could save them upwards of $600 million in interest costs.
