Patrick M. Gallivan is an experienced American politician, currently serving as a Republican member of the New York State Senate, representing the 59th District since 2011. Prior to his political career, Gallivan was well-recognized in law enforcement, notably as the Erie County Sheriff from 1998 to 2005. His rich education includes a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from the State University of New York College at Brockport, a master’s in Public Administration from the Nelson A. Rockefeller College of Public Affairs & Policy, and graduation from the FBI National Academy. He is known for his dedication to community service, law enforcement, and public safety.
