Let's Show Nintendo How Much We Want Thousand Year Door HD

"Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door" is beloved by countless Nintendo fans and regarded by many as one of the Gamecube's finest titles, yet it's one of the few first party Nintendo games that has yet to see a remaster, remake, or digital re-release through services such as the Virtual Console and Nintendo Switch Online. The purpose of this petition and the #RemasterThousandYearDoor campaign is to communicate to Nintendo that a great number of its customers would be thrilled to buy an HD version of the game. Even beyond pleasing fans of the series, producing a remaster would be a wise business decision. Multiple fan projects have produced HD versions of the game, proving that development would be very low-cost for Nintendo and thus turn a high profit. The original release sold a few million units, and since then the game has achieved cult status and has been spread to millions more people through used sales, word of mouth, YouTube content, etc. The relative return for the effort to remaster the game has the potential to be substantial. If a remaster of "Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door" is something that you would like to purchase, I urge you to sign this petition. In order to keep the results as accurate as possible, please don't sign it unless you're entirely certain this is a product you would buy if it were made available. Whatever the case, please feel free to share this petition with anyone you know that loves the game, and remember to use #RemasterThousandYearDoor to help spread the world on Twitter.

¡Que vuelvan los tazos Pokémon! #WeWantPokemonTazos

Collecting is a pretty entertaining hobby, which can help you make bonds with others. To find people with the same interests as you is an awesome thing, and collecting caps is an old and nostalgic amusement. Who remembers the happiness you felt after opening a potato chips bag and see that you were given a Mewtwo? What about the battles at the playground? It's something that nowadays is been spoiled. In my opinion, with the return of the Pokémon caps social relations could be promoted. Therefore, on behalf of all who we support and signed this writing, please reconsider bringing back the Pokémon caps.

Keep the Pixelmon Mod Alive

Heart broken, the Pixelmon community read this announcement: It's Been a Gréat Ride With much sadness, but keeping all our fond memories, we must announce that Pixelmon is ending its development. We have had a great time making this mod and creating such a wonderful community but after a request from the Pokémon company we will be shutting our doors. I'm sorry for the disappointment this will cause but let's remember all the great times we had playing Pixelmon, discussing Pokémon, making awesome things inside this mod and everything else that we've done. All good things come to an end eventually and now is our time. However there are always more things to do, to be a part of and to enjoy. Keep going out there to find fun projects to be a part of and other great things to invest your time and enthusiasm into. Farewell,The Pixelmon Team Written by the lead of the ubiquitous Pixelmon Minecraft mod, these somber words have struck the hearts of every player, server owner and fan of Pokemon and Minecraft. We as a community want to show the Pokemon company how we feel. Pixelmon isn't just another Minecraft mod. It's been so much more than that. For myself, it's helped me reach out to those in need of support, of friendship, and creating communities, large and small, together. It's been about the love we all share for little, fictional monsters. I own a Pixelmon server, called "Cherish". Why is it called that, you might ask? It's called that because we literally cherish our community. We cherish the opportunity to meet so many people who all share the same geeky, lovable and often socially frowned upon love of Pokemon, but in Minecraft. Why have it in Minecraft? It lets us actually play in a Pokemon world. With every new update, we've seen the hard work the developers have put in, countless hours, and all the success they have done in bringing so many people together. I can honestly say, I am heartbroken over this, as are many of my staff, friends, players, and other server owners. We feel beaten down, discarded, and pushed around. We feel like something that was such a light of joy, has been stripped away. Please, for the good of an ever growing community and the love it holds, do not shut down Pixelmon. That's the whole purpose of Pokemon I thought? To let you be a child again? You, Satoshi Tajiri, started Pokemon because of a loved past time you had of collecting insects. Don't take this away from us. Please.

Ask Nintendo to allow Backup Game Saves in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

In an interview published in the french outlet Gamekult, the Director and Producer of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Aya Kyogoku and Hisashi Nogami, revealed that the new game wouldn’t feature the option of cloud saves, which had been introduced in combination with the paid Nintendo Switch Online membership. This is unlike most other Switch titles. Since then, several outlets have translated said article and quote the reason for this decision being that the team behind the game are hoping to “avoid manipulating time”, as that is “one of the founding principles of the game.” Animal Crossing is a franchise known and beloved by its fans for its wholesome gameplay and long-term playability. Since its first iteration on the Nintendo GameCube, the game has only been released once for each new console, with the gap between titles widening. Many players spend hundreds - often up to thousands of hours - on one of these games, building up their fictional towns and developing friendships with its inhabitants. This is why we would like Nintendo to reconsider the decision to disable cloud saves and therefore withhold the only option for players to backup their game saves. Aside from the risk of losing a portable console like the Switch or having it be stolen or broken, there have been instances where even players only keeping their system at home lost all their save data - namely many cases in 2018 where non-Nintendo made Switch chargers could completely destroy the system because of incompatibility. With that one problem now being known, there is no guarantee that the Switch is safe from any save-file damaging issues for the remainder of its lifetime.Seeing this, and considering how many hours players are likely to invest into Animal Crossing: New Horizons, we see it necessary that users should have access to Nintendo’s cloud save functionality or be given another option to backup their game saves. This could be realized by allowing players to download their backup data in a limited manner: be it by implementing time intervals and therefore limiting the amount of downloads of the player’s data per year, or setting a waiting period before the latest save can be downloaded. There are also alternative options Nintendo could explore, like allowing users to create backups on their own storage media. All in all, we believe that, when considering the amount of time many players devote to games in this franchise, the fact that Animal Crossing is a real-time game (e.g. losing a year’s worth of game progression would need another whole year to regain it) and under the prospect of new issues appearing regarding the Switch’s data storage, there should be at least some way to ensure that players will be able to recover their save data in case of any mishaps.     Source of the interview: https://www.gamekult.com/jeux/animal-crossing-switch-3050879505/test.html?utm_term=Autofeed&utm_medium=Social&utm_source=Twitter#Echobox=1560582448 English: Please sign this petition to ask Nintendo to allow backup game saves in Animal Crossing: New Horizons!
