Mike Hamby is an American former professional football defensive end, known for his brief career with the Buffalo Bills in the NFL. Selected in the sixth round of the 1985 NFL Draft, Hamby played for the Bills in 1986. Beyond his athletic career, Hamby pursued education, earning a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences Education and a Master's in Instructional Design from the University of Georgia. His professional journey is diverse, having held roles as a commissioner for District 10 in Clarke County, financial advisor at J.C.
