Mary Mendoza is a dedicated public servant currently serving as Mayor of the City of San Fernando, California. She was first appointed to the City Council on October 7, 2019, to fill a vacancy and has since been re-elected for a third term, which runs from November 2022 to November 2026. Mary Mendoza was born and raised in San Fernando. She attended local schools, including Morningside Elementary, San Fernando Junior High, San Fernando High School, and Los Angeles Mission College. She earned an Associate in Arts degree from Mission College, where she worked for 43 years.
