Mark Keith Robinson is an American politician who has been serving as the 35th lieutenant governor of North Carolina since 2021. A member of the Republican Party, Robinson made history as North Carolina's first Black lieutenant governor. In 2024, he became the first Black major party nominee for governor in the state. Robinson's career includes service in the Army Reserves, where he worked as a medical specialist, and experience in the manufacturing sector. He graduated from Grimsley High School. With his trailblazing political career and dedication to public service, Robinson continues to be a significant figure in North Carolina's political landscape.
