Mai Vang is a dedicated public servant and community leader with a strong background in education and public health. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Sociology from the University of San Francisco and a Master's in Public Health from the University of California, Los Angeles, after completing her high school education at Sacramento High School. Mai Vang has served as a Councilmember for District 8 on the Sacramento City Council and as a Board Member for Area 5 at the Sacramento City Unified School District. Her professional experience includes roles as a Lecturer at the University of California, Davis, Executive Director at the Buck Scholars Association, and Policy Associate at California Forward, showcasing her commitment to education and policy development.
