Lydia Edwards is a dedicated public servant and accomplished legal professional with a strong academic background and extensive experience in law and politics. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Legal Policy Studies from Fordham University, a JD from American University Washington College of Law, and a Master's in Law/Taxation from Boston University. Lydia has served in various capacities, including as a State Senator for the Third Suffolk District in the Massachusetts State Senate and a Councilmember on the Boston City Council. Her legal career includes roles such as Of Counsel at Jason Wiener|p.c., a Litigation Associate at Holland & Knight LLP, and a Law Clerk at both the Massachusetts Superior Court and the Massachusetts Court of Appeals. She has also been a First Lieutenant JAG Officer in the US Army National Guard and held leadership positions at the Boston City Office of Housing Stability and the Brazilian Immigrant Center.
