Lisa Carmella McClain, born in 1966, is an American politician and financial adviser currently serving as a U.S. Representative from Michigan. A member of the Republican Party, she has represented Michigan's 9th congressional district since 2023, having previously served the 10th district from 2021 to 2023. McClain plays a significant role in congressional leadership as the Secretary of the House Republican Conference and was elected as the chair of the House Republican Conference for the 119th Congress. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Business from Northwood University. Prior to her political career, McClain held leadership roles in the financial sector, including Senior Vice President at Vestax Securities Corporation and District Manager at American Express Financial Advisors.
