LaMonica McIver is a dedicated public servant and leader in education with a robust academic background and extensive experience in community service. She holds a Doctorate in Education from Kean University, a Master's in Education Leadership, Management & Policy from Seton Hall University, and a Bachelor's in English Literature from Bloomfield College. LaMonica has demonstrated her commitment to community development and education through various roles, including serving as Vice President of Newark G.A.L.S., Inc. and as a consultant at LRM Consultant Services. Currently, she is the Councilmember for the Central Ward in the City of Newark, where she works to improve the lives of her constituents and advance educational initiatives. Her career reflects a strong dedication to public service and leadership.
