Kimberly Merle Schrier is an American politician and physician serving as the U.S. Representative for Washington's 8th congressional district since 2019. A member of the Democratic Party, Schrier has been a strong advocate for healthcare and education reform. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Astrophysics from the University of California, Berkeley, and earned her MD from the University of California, Davis School of Medicine. Before entering politics, Schrier worked as a pediatrician at Virginia Mason and Ashland Pediatrics, where she gained firsthand experience addressing healthcare issues.
