Kevin Brooks is the current mayor of Cleveland, Tennessee, having assumed office on September 10, 2018. Born on May 4, 1967, in Marietta, Georgia, he moved to Cleveland in 1986 to attend Lee University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in history. Brooks is affiliated with the Republican Party and has a notable background in public service. Before becoming mayor, Brooks served as a member of the Tennessee House of Representatives for the 24th district from January 2006 until he took office as mayor.
