Joseph Daughtry serves as the Vice President of the Montville Township Board of Education, a position he has held since his election, with his current term set to end in 2026. He is a long-time resident of Montville Township, having lived there for 40 years. In addition to his role on the Board of Education, Daughtry is also the Chairperson of the Montville Drug Awareness Council - Municipal Alliance, where he leads initiatives aimed at preventing substance abuse within the community
