José Andrés is a renowned Spanish-American chef, restaurateur, and philanthropist who has gained international acclaim within the culinary world. He was awarded a two-star Michelin recognition for his DC-based restaurant, minibar, and has ownership of ThinkFoodGroup, which manages over thirty restaurants globally. Among his many accomplishments, Andrés is also a visionary who used culinary arts for humanitarian aid, leading the non-profit World Central Kitchen to provide meals for disaster-stricken areas globally. He has been named one of Time magazine's "100 Most Influential People" and awarded the National Humanities Medal.
