John Joseph McGuire III, born in 1968, is an American politician and businessman currently serving as a member of the Virginia State Senate. A member of the Republican Party, McGuire has had a distinguished career in public service and business. From 2018 to 2024, he served as a delegate for District 56 in the Virginia House of Delegates. In 2024, he began his tenure as a State Senator representing Virginia’s 5th Congressional District. Prior to his political career, McGuire served as a SEAL Operator in the U.S. Navy, demonstrating his commitment to service. Additionally, he is the owner of SEAL Team Physical Training, Inc., where he applies his leadership skills and naval experience to the business sector.
