John Eplee is a dedicated public servant and experienced medical professional. He earned his high school diploma from Fredonia High School and pursued higher education at Kansas State University, where he obtained a Bachelor's degree in Pre-Medical Sciences. He furthered his studies at the University of Kansas Medical School, earning an MD. Eplee's medical career includes being the founding physician at Troy Clinic and serving as Chief of Staff at Atchison Hospital. He completed his residency at St. Joseph’s Family Practice, now known as Via Christi. In addition to his medical practice as a family medicine doctor, Eplee is a State Representative in the Kansas House of Representatives. He has also contributed to education as a member of the USD 409 School Board in Atchison and has participated in the Governor’s Task Force on Immunization Access and Advocacy.
