Joey Hensley is an American politician and physician, affiliated with the Republican Party. Since January 8, 2013, he has served as a member of the Tennessee Senate, representing District 28. Prior to his tenure in the Senate, Hensley was a member of the Tennessee House of Representatives for District 70 from January 2003 to January 8, 2013. His educational background includes an Associate's degree from Columbia State Community College, a Bachelor's degree from the University of Memphis, and a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the University of Tennessee-Memphis. In addition to his legislative duties, Hensley is a practicing physician, bringing his medical expertise to his role in the state legislature.
