Jim Harrity has a diverse background with experience across multiple sectors. He completed his education by obtaining a GED from Philadelphia Community College. Jim has held various roles throughout his career, beginning as an owner at Famous Amos Cookies and working as a construction worker with Laborers Local 157. He also served as an investigator at the Pennsylvania City Controller's Office. In the political realm, Jim has been deeply involved with the Democratic Party, serving as the Executive Director of the PA 3rd Senatorial District and as a Political Director at the PA Democratic Party. His commitment to public service is further demonstrated by his roles as an auditor and a City Councilmember-At-Large in Philadelphia.
