Jillian Gilchrest is a dedicated public servant and advocate, currently serving as the State Representative for District 18 in the Connecticut House of Representatives. She holds a Master's in Social Work with a focus on Policy Practice from the University of Connecticut. Her career has been marked by a commitment to social justice and public health, evident in her roles as Director of Health Professional Outreach at the Connecticut Coalition Against Domestic Violence and Executive Director at NARAL Pro-Choice Connecticut. Additionally, she has contributed to academia as a teacher at the University of Saint Joseph, the University of Connecticut, and the University of Hartford. Gilchrest has also served as a Senior Policy Analyst at the Permanent Commission on the Status of Women and as a Board Member of the West Hartford Board of Education.
