James Maroney is a dedicated public servant and experienced professional with a strong academic background and a diverse career. He earned his high school diploma from Jonathan Law High School and pursued higher education at Yale University, where he obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics. Maroney's career spans various roles, including serving as a Communications Coordinator at the Milford Regional Chamber of Commerce and as an Equities Trader at Heartland Securities. He co-founded First Choice College Placement, where he served as Director. Maroney also contributed as the Director of Community Outreach at Drazen Rubin Law LLC. In his political career, he has served as a State Representative in the Connecticut House of Representatives and currently represents District 14 as a State Senator in the Connecticut State Senate.
