In the heart of our community, nestled between a quiet neighborhood and a Church, a coffee shop by the name of HotTop Baristas is set to open its doors. However, this is not your average coffee shop. HotTop Baristas plans to feature ladies in lingerie serving coffee, a concept that our community finds neither appropriate nor respectful.

For many of us, a Church is more than just a building; it's a beacon of solace, community, and moral values. The presence of such an establishment right across the street feels at odds with the principles that our neighborhood upholds. Our streets are where children play, families gather, and a sense of community thrives. Introducing an inappropriate business model into this environment threatens to disrupt our community’s harmony and moral fabric.

Residents have expressed concerns about potential increases in traffic, which could diminish the peaceful character of our neighborhood. Furthermore, there is anxiety over the type of clientele such a business might attract, and the possible long-term implications for local property values.

We understand the importance of business innovation and the need for economic opportunities, but these ventures should align with the community's values and fit within the neighborhood's ethos. We urge the city council and decision-makers to reconsider granting a permit for this establishment in such close proximity to our homes and places of worship.

It’s crucial that our voices are heard and that our family's well-being is prioritized. Let us come together to ensure our community remains a safe, respectful, and family-friendly environment. We appeal to local leaders and fellow community members to join us in opposing the opening of HotTop Baristas and to support businesses that truly reflect our community’s values.

Please sign this petition to stand with us in protecting the integrity and culture of our neighborhood.
