Gregory Joseph Pence, born in 1956, is an American businessman and politician currently serving as the U.S. Representative for Indiana's 6th congressional district, a position he has held since 2019. The district encompasses much of east-central Indiana, including his hometown of Columbus, as well as Greenfield, Richmond, Shelbyville, and parts of Indianapolis. A member of the Republican Party, he is the older brother of Mike Pence, former U.S. Vice President and former representative of the same district from 2001 to 2013. Greg Pence holds a Bachelor's degree in Theology and Philosophy and a Master's in Business Administration from Loyola University. His career includes roles as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps and owner of an antique mall.
