Gobierno del Peru, also known as the Government of Peru, is the highly authority governing body of Peru. As a unitary semi-presidential republic, the government comprises three branches: executive, legislative, and judicial. The executive branch is led by the President who is both the head of state and government. The legislative branch is composed of a unicameral Congress, while the judicial sector consists of various courts and judged by the judiciary. These branches manipulate the overall development strategy, economic regulations, foreign policies, and law enforcement within the country.
