Gobierno del Distrito Federal, now known as Gobierno de la Ciudad de México, is the central government body in charge of the administration and public management of México City. As the governing institution of the capital city, its responsibilities include the implementation of public policies, urban development, health services, public security, and education. The organization is headed by the Mayor, who is elected by the city's inhabitants and is supported by several secretariats focusing on different urban aspects, such as environment, mobility, tourism, culture, and more.
