Gobierno de Honduras, or the Government of Honduras, is a democratic constitutional republic with a multi-party system. It functions through three branches of government: the executive, legislative, and judicial branches. The President of Honduras, who serves as both the head of state and head of government, leads the executive branch. The legislative branch is composed of the National Congress, which is a unicameral parliament. The judicial branch is headed by the Supreme Court of Justice. The government also includes various ministries and agencies that manage different sectors such as health, education, and finance.
