Glenn William "GT" Thompson Jr. is an American politician and manager currently serving as the U.S. Representative for Pennsylvania's 15th congressional district. A dedicated member of the Republican Party, he was first elected to Congress in 2008, initially representing Pennsylvania's 5th congressional district until redistricting in 2018 moved him to the 15th district. Thompson has been a significant figure in U.S. politics, holding his congressional position across multiple terms. Since 2023, he has chaired the influential House Agriculture Committee. His experience extends beyond Congress, with previous roles including service on a board of education from 1990 to 1995. Thompson is set to become the dean of Pennsylvania's Congressional delegation in 2025, following the anticipated defeat of Senator Bob Casey Jr.
