George Cleveland is a distinguished public figure with a robust background in both military and educational arenas. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics Education from the University of Maryland College Park. Cleveland served as a veteran in the U.S. Marine Corps, where he also fulfilled the role of a Drill Instructor. His career in public service includes being a State Representative for District 14 in the North Carolina House of Representatives.
