They earned a high school diploma from Del Norte High School and pursued higher education at the University of New Mexico, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in History and Philosophy. Romero has demonstrated a commitment to public service through various roles, including Program Assistant at the State of New Mexico's 13th Judicial District Attorney's Office. They also have experience in education as a Social Studies Teacher at Atrisco Heritage Academy High School. Currently, Romero serves as the Representative for District 10 in the New Mexico House of Representatives, where they focus on legislative initiatives that benefit their constituents and promote community well-being.
