Francis Rooney is an accomplished American politician and business executive known for his tenure as the U.S. Representative for Florida's 19th congressional district from 2017 to 2021. A member of the Republican Party, Rooney served as the U.S. Ambassador to the Holy See from 2005 to 2008 under George W. Bush administration. Outside politics, Rooney played an influential role in his family's construction company, Manhattan Construction Group, where he served as CEO. His notable achievements include heading the construction of the Dallas Cowboys Stadium and the U.S. Capitol Visitor Center.
