He is known for his leadership as the Executive Director of the Washington State Commission on African American Affairs. His commitment to local governance is reflected in his role as a Councilmember for the City of Renton. Additionally, Ed has worked as the East Precinct Program Coordinator at the Seattle Neighborhood Group and as a Freelance Grant Writer, contributing to community development and well-being.
