Dış İşleri Bakanlığı, or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is the government institution responsible for the foreign relations of the Republic of Turkey. Charged with representing Turkey's interests abroad, the ministry's duties involve coordinating a diverse array of activities, including diplomatic missions, policy planning, among others. In addition to its headquarters in Ankara, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs operates through its vast network of overseas embassies and consulates, serving as the communication channel between the Turkish government and the international community.
