Diana Lynn Harshbarger is an American politician, pharmacist, and businesswoman. Born in 1960, she is a member of the Republican Party and has served as the U.S. representative for Tennessee's 1st congressional district since January 3, 2021. Her district is located in the Tri-Cities area in northeastern Tennessee. Harshbarger holds a Bachelor's degree from East Tennessee State University and a Doctorate in Pharmacy from Mercer University. Prior to her political career, she worked as a licensed pharmacist and business owner at Premier Pharmacy Inc. Her professional background in healthcare and business has informed her legislative priorities and contributions in Congress, where she continues to represent her constituents.
