Dawn M. Peters is a Florida native and a successful businesswoman who was elected to the Pinellas County School Board in November 2022. She serves in District 3, representing the county at large. Peters has a strong background in education, having served as a certified substitute preschool teacher, an elementary school student mentor, and a PTA officer for many years. She also worked as a volunteer and mentor coordinator at Thurgood Marshall Fundamental Middle School, gaining insight into the challenges faced by students and families.
