David T. "Dave" Woodward, born in 1976, is an American politician affiliated with the Democratic Party. He has been serving as the Chairman of the Oakland County Board of Commissioners in Michigan since January 2019. Woodward has been a member of the Board since 2005, representing various districts over the years, including the 18th, 19th, and currently the 1st district. Prior to his tenure on the Board, he served in the Michigan House of Representatives from 1999 to 2004, representing District 26. Woodward holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wayne State University.
