Daniel Andrews is an Australian politician who has been serving as the 48th Premier of Victoria since 2014. Born on 6 July 1972, Andrews is a member of the Australian Labor Party and was the Member of Parliament (MP) for Mulgrave beginning in 2002. Prior to his premiership, he held several ministerial responsibilities, including Minister for Gaming, Minister for Consumer Affairs, and Minister for Health. Throughout his political career, Andrews has been committed to introducing progressive social policies while focussing on improving the infrastructure and healthcare system of Victoria.
