Damian Hinds MP

Damian Hinds MP is a British Conservative Party politician, serving as the Member of Parliament for East Hampshire since 2010. Born on November 27, 1969 in London, Hinds attended the University College, Oxford where he graduated with a degree in politics, philosophy, and economics. He was appointed Exchequer Secretary to the Treasury in 2015 and later served as the Minister of State for Employment. In January 2018, he was appointed Secretary of State for Education, a position he held until July 2019. Alongside his political career, Hinds shows interest in social mobility, education and skills, the economy and infrastructure.
