Christopher Belt is a dedicated public servant with a strong background in law enforcement and education. He holds a Bachelor's degree in History from Illinois State University and a Master's in Public Administration from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Belt has served in various capacities, including as a Regional Deputy Administrator of Aftercare for the State of Illinois, a Law Enforcement Officer, and a Juvenile Correction Officer at St. Clair County Probation and Detention. His commitment to community service is further exemplified by his roles as President and Board Member of the Cahokia District 187 School Board. Currently, he serves as the Senator for District 57 in the Illinois State Senate, where he continues to advocate for his constituents and address local issues.
