Changpeng Zhao

Changpeng Zhao, commonly known as CZ, is the founder and CEO of Binance, one of the world's largest and most successful cryptocurrency exchanges. Born in Jiangsu, China, he moved to Vancouver, Canada, in the late 1980s. Zhao spent time in Tokyo and New York, coding software for matching trade orders, before launching Binance in 2017. Balloted as the third wealthiest individual in the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry, his leadership and innovative approach has elevated the status of Binance significantly.
