Bradley James Sherman, born in 1954, is an American politician, lawyer, and accountant serving as the U.S. Representative for California's 32nd congressional district. A dedicated member of the Democratic Party, Sherman first entered Congress in 1997. Over the years, he has represented California's 24th, 27th, and 30th congressional districts, primarily covering parts of the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles County and the eastern Simi Hills in Ventura County. An accomplished academic, Sherman holds a J.D. from Harvard University and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles. Before his congressional tenure, he worked as a Certified Public Accountant and a Tax Law Specialist. His extensive experience also includes instructing at Harvard Law School’s International Tax Program.
