Bill Powers is an American politician representing the 22nd district in the Tennessee Senate, a role he has held since April 2019. A member of the Republican Party, Powers has been actively involved in both local and state governance. He began his educational journey at Clarksville High School and later earned a Bachelor's degree from the University of Tennessee. Before entering politics, Powers gained valuable experience in the private sector as a Market Research Manager at Acme Boot Company, Inc., and as a Managing Partner at Wyatt-Johnson Automotive Group. His political career also includes serving as a Councilmember on the Clarksville City Council. Powers continues to serve the interests of his constituents in the Tennessee General Assembly.
